I ordered an arrangement from out of town to be delivered to mercy hospital. They handled this request quickly and professionally. The flowers were quickly dispatched, and the shop sent me a picture of the arrangement. Which turned out to be a good idea as the patient was physically unable to read the card, and her son had ‘assumed it came from her church’. Luckily I was able to describe the flowers to him from the photo and, consequently, confirm their delivery. And they were quite lovely. I am pleased that Pierson’s is still the fine florist that it was when I lived in Cedar Rapids in the 50s and 60s.
